just watched Iron Giant whose graphic image is iconic. Wall-e must have taken inspiration from this..
I really rated some of the art directing and colours in this great 2D animation, but the story & the music got very boring for me. After listening to soundtrack masters Quincy Jones, Henry Mancini and Ennio Morricone unfortunately I'm getting a bit spoilt.
