Es Vedra, the rocky island off ibiza completely influenced where I decided the Inigox should live in the story. He now lives off the coast of Santa Angelina in a similar fortress of rocks (with the ghost army of course) known as La Isla Castillo or 'Castle island.' (see above, for another similar mountainous island)
The jagged mountain, Pico Paradis, which his island overlooks and where the FFF's conference takes place, takes it's inspiration from the Matterhorn in Zermatt, where my mum is from. That iconic mountain is etched in my psyche and apparently it's also the inspiration for Paramount's logo too..could be a sign?
